Nordic Hunter

My name is Charlotte and my kennel Nordic Hunter currently consists of 2 labradors; Lisa and Mali and also a third dog in training for another owner. I train my dogs for trials and WTs and love the sport of shooting.

Labradors are bred to retrieve game like ducks and rabbits and is a breed that suits a lot of people because of it's will to please, their lovely mentality and good looks. However, a labrador is not for everyone and you should be prepared for a lot of training and commitment. There are huge differences in show bred labs and field trial labs and make sure you learn the difference before getting either one of them. A dog bred for your needs makes all the difference!

There are two kinds of dog owners or rather handlers in this case; those who are commited and those who aren't. I consider myself as an extremly commited person and I run my kennel and train my dogs accordingly.

We currently do not have any puppies for sale, but for future litters you should be aware of our preferences. For us, the labrador is a gundog and we will do our outmost to keep the breeds skills and qualities. A part of keeping it's qualities is to sell the dogs to the right people, who are genuinly interested in the breed like we are and who will train, trial and love the dog. In return we will always be available for helping out and assist whenever it's needed. When you buy a Nordic Hunter puppy, you will also get a commited breeder, training assistance, insurance up to 10 weeks, NRK registration, a USB drive with pictures and info and some training equipment.

I live in Andebu, a little town outside of Sandefjord, 1.5 hour from Oslo with my husband Andreas who grew up with Tandenbo's labradors. My email and msn adress is: charlotte@skotner.net, feel free to contact me for anything.
